UNI SHOOTING RAMPAGE: :Nine people injured in gun and machete attack on Ohio State University Campus as cops shoot dead suspect
NINE people are in hospital following a shooting at Ohio State University, one of America’s largest universities.
Students reported a car drove into people gathered outside during a fire alarm, before a man jumped out with a gun and a knife.

A white sheet was placed over the body by authorities

The university warned its 60,000 students to run, hide or fight
Police shot dead the suspect after nine were taken to hospital
According to NBC, the suspect was shot dead by police – and cops investigated claims there were multiple shooters, before the university confirmed the scene was secure at around 11:30am local time – 4:30pm GMT.
As the situation unfolded, university sent a series of tweets telling its 60,000 students to shelter in place and to “Run Hide Fight.”
At around 10am local time (3pm GMT), the university’s emergency management department tweeted: “Buckeye Alert: Active Shooter on campus. Run Hide Fight. Watts Hall. 19th and College.”
Watts Hall is a materials science and engineering building.
“Run, hide, fight” is standard protocol for active shooter situations, instructing people to run, evacuate if possible; hide, get silently out of view; or fight, as a last resort, take action to disrupt or incapacitate the shooter if your life is in imminent danger.
Police are said to be investigating claims that there were multiple shooters

Students took to Twitter from barricaded rooms on campus
The local fire department confirmed two of those taken to hospital are in a stable condition.
