The sacred art of kissing in the African culture.

What is kissing  💋

It is the art of pressing one's lips against another person in a passionate way. Kissing is sensual and romantic and it keeps people together. It is not a common practice in some African cultures.

Kissing isn’t always about smacking your lips together and sharing saliva … no, there is so much more to kissing than that. So, what is it that makes for an exquisite kiss between two lovers? Is it the actual technique? Is it the energy exchange? Is it fast & passionate, or slow and lingering … or somewhere in-between?or simply..... Show of affection between siblings.

Kisses are wayyyyyyy more enjoyable than others. Yes, it does take two to tango but kissing is foreign to us Africans it is a borrowed culture.

Kissing can also  be deceptive. ln our society today deception is the order of the day. People kiss and show fake affection just to achieve their shelfish ambition male and female inclusive. It starts with a kiss.

Types of kisses.

People kiss for different reasons.
This depends on the people involved. Kissing can be platonic sensual or romantic. It could be between a mother and her baby, father and daughter on the forehead or checks, between lovers and couples kissing each other on the lips.

Kissing is not an African culture. Why do I have to kiss and be passionate with my family, lover or wife. Kissing is an imported culture .
We watch people kiss in films, so does it mean we also should do it.
As I grow up have never seen my Dad and mum kiss each other, not even close relatives, so is kissing an African culture.?
Generally Africans show too much shyness in showing love. Often when I was young the best my dad did was to hug my mum or hold her hand to dance his favorite Jim Reverse songs, but my mum always pretending or showing some girlish attitude. In Africa you don't need to be romantic, passionate or kissy, you go straight to the point that is African style.
Though today's youths are getting bolder... Kissing, huging, teasing, foreplay usually done in secret is now seen on television and sometimes in public. Even at that it is not acceptable in most African societies.
The fact is that African people kiss and do other passionate things but it is in secret because Africans believe expressing and exposing all concerning love and romance is either immoral or sinful. Most Africans don't show public affection for above reasons.
In my opinion kissing is instinctual and intuitive, that is,  the instincts comes naturally just like sex, we feel the impulse as you read your partners lips. It is an art of practice makes perfect.

No one though you how to kiss or make love to a woman ,its a natural instinct we learn by what  we see other people  do and we feel the impulse, thats why minors are not allowed to watch certain categories of movies.
Without kissing most of you will agree with me that our father's generation loved better with happier and longer lasting marriages.
Just like many other foreign values, Kissing weather romantic or Platonic is not an African thing.
