ODD:9 Year Old Boy Weds 62 years Old Woman in South Africa

 A nine year old schoolboy in South Africa has tied the knot with a 62-years-old woman in South Africa in a ceremony that stunned villagers who described the union as shocking.

The world’s youngest groom is quoted as saying he took the step so as to formalize their union, having informally tied the knot with the mother of five last year.

Saneie Masilela wedded Helen Shabangu at a closed ceremony attended by 100 guests including Alfred Shabangu, Helen’s long term husband who is 66 years old.



Masilela said he still hoped he would have a proper wedding to a woman his own age when he was older.


Both families claim the wedding is simply another 'ritual' after Saneie was told by his dead ancestors to wed last year.

A female self-confessed ‘child-kidnapping witch doctor’ -was stripped naked and beaten before being sexually assaulted after she was caught right in the act. The woman – it is reported – had been caught red-handed trying to lure away young children with promises of ice cream in Imo state.
