Federal Government introduce new policy in a bid to recover stolen money

The Federal Government yesterday announaced a policy, which offers a five percent financial reward to any whistle blower whose information leads to recovery ‎of looted funds and other monies obtained through fraudulent means

Minister of Finance, KemiAdeosun said if a whistle blowing leads to a voluntary return of stolen or concealed public funds or assets, the blower may be entitled to between 2.5 per cent (minimum) and 5.0 per cent (maximum) of the total amount recovered.

A female self-confessed ‘child-kidnapping witch doctor’ -was stripped naked and beaten before being sexually assaulted after she was caught right in the act. The woman – it is reported – had been caught red-handed trying to lure away young children with promises of ice cream in Imo state. The brutal mob turned the tables on the alleged child snatcher, who was subjected to a brutal beating as she was paraded naked around a village.
