The new born left doctors baffled after he was born with a rare disorder that has him looking like an 80-year-old.
The baby was born at a hospital in the district of Magura, Bangladesh on Sunday, September 25, with a rare condition called progeria. The disorder is said to cause wrinkles on the face, a very sunken body and hollow eyes, all of which are typical in the elderly.
A doctor who has been treating the child said:
"The baby does not look like a newborn at all.
"There are prominent signs of ageing such as excessive wrinkles and rough skin texture."
Meanwhile, the parents of the child who have been hoping for a male child, are just too grateful to have one now, they will take him however he comes.
The father of the child, Biswajit Patro, who is a farmer, is beside himself with excitement and fully intends to accept his son, looks and all.
"We can only thank God. There is no need to be unhappy about the appearance of my son.We will accept him the way he is.

"We are so happy to have a baby boy in the house. We have been getting a lot of visitors, Relatives, neighbours and even people from neighbouring villages have come to see our son. We are happy to host them all.
"We are already blessed to have to have a daughter. Now we are a family of four. What else can we ask for?"
