Belgaum girl jumps before train after setting herself on fire






In a shocking incident, a 18-year-old girl committed suicide by setting herself ablaze and jumping before a moving train in Belgaum, Karnataka.
Sanjana Angolkar, a diploma student of Maratha Mandal Polytechnic, was reportedly suffering from health problems and was depressed about it.
Eye-witness accounts said she waited at Tilakawadi on Saturday morning for a passenger train to arrive at 11.45 am. As it approached, she doused herself with petrol and lit fire. As horrified bystanders watched, she then jumped before the train.

Sanjana Angolkar was killed on the spot before any help could be rushed.
She had reportedly attended a few classes in her college on Friday morning and there was no change in her behaviour. She took the college bus home and got off at Tilakwadi saying she had some work there.
She reportedly bought a litre of petrol at a nearby station and then went to the railway tracks, where she ended her life.
Sanjana Angolkar had left a suicide note in a bag, which was found next to her. She said she had been ill for the last past 4-5 years and was depressed over it.
She asked her parents to adopt a baby girl and said she would be near them always.
