Horrifying: Bus and car caved Into road In Chennai





Roads in India are already known for accidents because of their worst condition but yesterday's incident is very unfortunate.

An MTS bus and a car met with an accident after Chennai’s prominent Anna Salai caved in last Sunday Visuals show a state run bus and Honda city car trapped in huge crater formed on the road.





Initial reports suggest that 35 people were boarded in the bus and some sustained minor injuries. Some of them were taken to the nearby government hospital immediately.



Since it was Sunday so there was very little traffic on Sunday and accident was not that prominent. Initial reports are suggesting that there is no casualty.



It is suspected that carter must have been formed because of metro rail work going in nearby area. According to sources;

The cave-in occurred during a cutterhead intervention procedure. In other words, when the head of the boring machine is paused for inspection.



Bus driver said he suddenly felt some movement and he thought it was a tyre pucnture. But when he saw through window, it was road caving in. He suddenly informed passengers and asked them to move out from bus.



This is 2nd such incident in last 10 days. On 30th March, same road caved in but there were no damages on that day and Chennai Traffic police reported
